the staff decorated the lodge for my wife's 70th birthday, it was a complete surprise. all our family came, thirteen in total. we rented an extra caravan, as the lodge was beautifully clean and well equipped. we had great fun in the hot tub and loved the amazing location overlooking the lake. the weather was kind to us, and we visited lincoln for a day trip.
upon arrival, there was constant traffic noise from a busy main road and train line. it was not the tranquil setting portrayed online. there is only one restaurant on site, it did not open until 4pm. breakfast, lunch, and dinner availability was stated online, so we had to leave to get food.

the on-site pub offered good meal deals, convenient for quick lunches. the restaurant and bar provide options for dining and relaxation, with the restaurant available for onsite meals.

The staff was very helpful. They even decorated the lodge before we arrived. The lodge was super clean and cozy. The hot tub offered a lovely view of the lake.
The restaurant's opening hours were limited. It did not open until 4pm. The site is close to a busy main road. I also heard noise from a train line at night.
